The flag hoisting ceremony was performed by SIO National President Ramees EK. The inauguration of a new office building in Jayanagar, Bangalore was completed. Other dignitaries present at the ceremony included Vice President of Jamaat Islami Hind S Aminul Hasan, State President of Jamaicaat Islamis Hind Karnataka Unit, Dr. Muhammad Saad Belgami, Maulvi Fahimuddin, and SIO Karnataka State President Zeeshan Akhil Siddiqui.
