A 23-year-old man from Bengaluru found himself in legal trouble after being arrested for engaging in pranks targeting women on an escalator within a metro station and inside Namma metro train. He also shared videos of these actions on his Instagram account, as reported by The Times of India.

The individual, identified as Prajwal, uploaded these videos on Instagram Reels under the username 'Pranker Praju'. These recordings were made back in July and featured instances where he impersonated a seizure while using the escalator, causing distress to a senior lady who happened to be a step behind him. In another video, he replicated the same prank while inside a moving train.

An official from the Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) expressed their concern over these actions and emphasized that such behavior is unacceptable, going against the established norms and etiquette for using the metro. Passengers were genuinely alarmed by his antics, both on the escalator and inside the metro coach.

In response, a complaint was lodged by an assistant security officer from BMRCL at a local police station. Notably, the individual's motorbike's number plate played a pivotal role in identifying and arresting him. The security officer explained, "The number plates of a bike used for another reel helped us identify him. The real name of the person is Prajwal, and he is a resident of Nagarbhavi. A case has been registered against him, and the investigation is ongoing."
